March duel between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will not take place
Now the parties are trying to find a compromise on another date.
The fight between two heavyweight champions Briton Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, announced for March 4, will not take place at the appointed time.
As promoter Frank Warren explained, the managers of the athletes have advanced far enough in the negotiation part, and one can say with ninety percent certainty that this confrontation will be.
“We agreed on almost everything, but there are a couple of positions on which a common solution still needs to be found. By March 4, we simply won’t have time to do it,” the specialist said.
According to Warren, under the most favorable circumstances, the fight could take place in the last days of March. At worst in April or May.
As experts suggest, most likely, the parties cannot yet agree on the part of the fees - who will get what percentage for the fight.
