Tennis legend Chris Evert beats cancer

For more than a year, the athlete fought with a serious illness.

Former world No. 1 and multiple Grand Slam winner Chris Evert has said she has beaten cancer.

According to the celebrity, when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in December 2021, she managed to survive the first shock, pulled herself together and began the fight for life.

“I went through six rounds of chemotherapy in a row. It was incredibly hard, but it was a chance for life. And I used it to the maximum,” recalls 68-year-old Evert.

After all the tests, the examination showed a complete cure and ninety percent for the fact that the disease would never return to her.

Chris Evert has eighteen Grand Slam victories in singles alone, in total she has almost two hundred titles in all tournaments.

By the way, not so long ago, another tennis legend Martina Navratilova was also diagnosed with cancer.
