On the eve it became known that the unification fight of heavyweights Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury announced for March 4 has been cancelled.
The reason for the cancellation was some inconsistent details of the contract - presumably, its financial part.
At the same time, as promoter Frank Warren noted, there is very little left for the parties to reach a full consensus. Therefore, no one intends to postpone the duel.
“We have advanced far in our negotiations, so there is nowhere to retreat. We want to make a fight at the end of March. If there are difficulties with the choice of the venue for the fight, the dates may be postponed to April or May, ”the specialist said.
