Brazilian middleweight title holder Alex Pereira spoke about his sports plans for the current year.
According to the champion, he will be ready to enter the octagon no earlier than April, but no later than May.
First of all, he wanted to fight with one of the main contenders for the title fight, Robert Whittaker.
“Most likely, the question of a rematch with Adesanya will be raised, from which I will not run away,” Pereira suggested.
In general, as the fighter clarified, a lot will depend on the league, and it is quite possible that he will have to fight someone else.
But the Swede Khamzat Chimaev, despite numerous rumors, is not in Pereira's plans.
