Resigned Naoya Inoue could fight at new weight in May
The star boxer has a chance to perform in front of his audience.
Not so long ago, the Japanese Naoya Inoue gave up the title of absolute world champion in the bantamweight division for the sake of starting a career in the featherweight division.
And now he had a chance to fight in the new weight immediately for the title against the WBC and WBO champion in the first featherweight division of the American Stephen Fulton.
According to some reports, several sites and terms are being discussed, but Japan is called the most preferred country. The fight could take place in May this year.
Both potential rivals have never experienced the bitterness of defeat in their careers. The Japanese boxer has twenty-four wins, the American has twenty-one successful fights.
