Kickboxer Harrison withdrew from the fight after it announsment

It is unclear what the fighter was waiting for.

The bout announced by Floyd Mayweather Jr. with British kickboxer Liam Harrison was canceled just hours after the announcement.

It's not clear what the Brit was waiting for and why he didn't make his position known before the high-profile announcement. Nevertheless, the fighter complained of an injury that would prevent him from going into the bounce house on February 25.

"Unfortunately, the problems with my knee never went anywhere and it won't allow me to go out to fight Floyd. My doctor said it's impossible for me to go out," the Briton explained.

It's not known yet, whether the organizers of the event will try to find him a replacement for the February fight with Mayweather or it will simply be canceled.
