Luke Rockhold leaves UFC despite remaining contract fights
Later, the athlete managed to settle this issue with the league.
The head of the UFC, Dana White, has forgiven the now former promotion fighter Luke Rockhold for a “debt” in several fights that he did not want to fight.
After the August defeat from Paulo Costa, the American announced his departure from the UFC, but it later turned out that under the current contract, he had to enter the octagon several more times.
For such a violation of the contract, the athlete could be sued by the promotion for a serious amount.
However, according to American tabloids, Dana White, in gratitude for the bright years in the league, forgave the fighter for his obstinacy. As a result, the promotion and the athlete terminated the contract by mutual agreement.
Rockhold is now a free agent and can send anywhere. Although, judging by his statements, the fighter is going to become a boxer.
