Usyk says he's ready to fight Fury for free

The Ukrainian boxer reproached the opponent for commercialism.

The fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight boxing champion between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usik, canceled on March 4, will take place, albeit later.

The last disagreements have been settled, and, apparently, they concerned the distribution of fees. Allegedly, Fury wanted most of the prize money for himself.

Oleksandr Usyk's team did not immediately, but agreed to these conditions. The contract is on the verge of signing.

However, the Ukrainian boxer could not resist taunting the overly mercantile Briton.

“Fury, you talk about greatness in boxing. At the same time: "Give me a lot of money." Greatness in boxing is not determined by money, but by your road of victories. You kept saying that I was avoiding you, but here I come to you. And for the sake of overthrowing your imaginary greatness, I am ready to fight you for free, ”said the Ukrainian.
