Faster than Vasilevsky 250 victories in the NHL won only Dryden
The Russian goalkeeper has reached a round number in the regular season.
Russian goaltender “Tampa Bay Lightning” Andrey Vasilevsky won the 250th victory in the matches of the regular stage of the NHL.
Anniversary for him was the match against the “Minnesota Wild” (4:2), in which he parried 33 shots.
In order to reach this mark, Vasilevsky needed 389 matches. Only one goalie in NHL history managed to do it faster: in 1970-1979, Canadian Ken Dryden won 250 of 373 matches.
