It took the Serbian athlete just over two hours and three sets to reach the semi-finals.
The final score of the match was 6:1, 6:2, 6:4 in favor of Djokovic, who clearly controlled the course of the match from the first to the last minutes.
This is the third victory of the Serb over the Russian tennis player in personal meetings, Rublev has one victory.
As for Djokovic, he will have a match with Tommy Paul from the USA for reaching the final of the prestigious tournament.
