Wilder vs Ruiz fight in development
The two heavyweights have a chance to fight in the spring.
Legendary former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has confirmed that Andy Ruiz Jr. will most likely be his next opponent.
According to the American athlete, now the parties are negotiating, and everything goes to the fact that a contract will be signed soon.
“The main issue is the venue of the fight. There are disagreements here. But still, our fight is rapidly approaching. I think it will happen in the spring,” said Wilder.
In his last fight, the American knocked out the Finn Robert Helenius, on account of his forty-three wins and two losses.
Ruiz's stats are thirty-five wins with the same two failures. His last opponent was Luis Ortiz, whom Ruiz defeated by decision.
