The women's Australian Open will have a Belarusian-Kazakh final
Elena Rybakina is again waiting for an opponent from Belarus.
Belarusian Arina Sobolenko defeated Magda Linette of Poland in the semifinals of the Australian Open.
The match lasted just over an hour and a half and ended 7:6 (7:1), 6:2 in favor of Sobolenko.
Thus, she will play against Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan, who had previously defeated another Belarusian, Victoria Azarenka.
Sobolenka had once won the Australian Open and US Open doubles. For Rybakina, this is her first chance at the title in Melbourne.
