Rafael Dos Anjos offered to fight Dustin Porter at welterweight
The suggestion sounds more like a joke.
Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos has challenged another top lightweight to a fight, Dustin Porier.
The highlight of the offer is that the Brazilian wants to fight his colleague from the United States at welterweight.
The instigator of such confrontation was Dos Anjos's fan, who while communicating with the athlete in social networks wrote: "Porier vs Dos Anjos - a great fight. You guys could do it at welterweight. Let it be Dustin's debut at 170 pounds," the fan wrote.
"I really like that. Dustin Porier, let's put on a little weight and put on a show like this," the Brazilian now addressed his potential opponent.
Curiously enough, Porier himself had not previously ruled out a division change, as he sees no worthy opponents for himself in the lightweight division.
