Gilbert Burns has an unexpected opponent for the April UFC tournament

The fighter believes, and the strongest league disposes. Brazilian welterweight Gilbert Burns planned to fight Colby Covington in the next fight or have a rematch with Khamzat Chimaev.
However, the UFC management decided to play a different scenario for the Brazilian, and appointed 38-year-old veteran Jorge Masvidal as his opponent.
This bout has been officially announced as the co-main event of UFC 287 in New York on April 8th.
By the way, Masvidal, going on a series of three defeats, lost his last fight in March last year just to Covington.
In the main fight of the event, middleweight champion Alex Pereira and former title holder Israel Adesanya will once again meet in the octagon in a rematch.
