The fighter changes the octagon to the ring.
Former UFC lightweight title holder Jose Aldo has announced his retirement from MMA after losing to Merab Dvalishvili in August.
Shortly thereafter, the athlete announced that he intended to retrain as a professional boxer.
And now, a few months after the announcement, Jose Aldo will have his debut fight in the ring.
His team has just decided on the first opponent, which was the Argentinean Alberto Emmanuel Zambrano.
The fight will take place on February 10 at the Shooto Brazil Boxing tournament in Rio de Janeiro, and Aldo is looking forward to the enthusiastic support of his viewers.
