Arman Tsarukyan calls out top UFC lightweight
The Russian intends to move higher in the rating.
Russian UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan, who competes in the lightweight division, has decided on a potential opponent for the next fight.
It was the ex-contender for the lightweight title, top fighter from the United States Michael Chandler, whom Tsarukyan had already challenged.
Hey Michael Chandler, it's time to defend your place in the UFC rankings. “Lowest Fighting IQ in the Division Against the New Generation of MMA.” You definitely can’t overtake me on the way to the top,” the Russian athlete turned to the American on social networks.
Tsarukyan has nineteen victories in twenty-two fights, the last of which he won on December 18 as part of the UFC Fight Night 216 tournament in a fight with Kazakh Damir Ismagulov.
But Chandler lost his last fight in November at UFC 281 to Dustin Poirier by choke. It was the eighth defeat of the American fighter with twenty-three victories.
