Konstantin Tszyu opposed the fight between Beterbiev and Bivol

The famous Russian boxer and former undisputed world welterweight champion Konstantin Tszyu considers it inappropriate to meet in the ring between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev.

Two Russians hold all the professional boxing welterweight belts, and a duel between them could determine the undisputed champion in this division.

A lot of people in the world want to see this fight, but Tszyu Sr. believes that Russian boxers should fight with foreign opponents and not run each other.

“Probably, each of them wants to become the best of the best. Perhaps this fight will take place at some point. Which means one of them will lose everything. Our boxers should not fight among themselves. The saying “beat your own so that strangers are afraid” does not work. It should be the other way around, ”the legendary athlete voiced his opinion.
