Joshua names his next opponents after Franklin fight in April

In the spring, the British boxer will enter the ring for the first time this year.

On April 1, former two-time heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua will face Jermain Franklin in his first fight of the year.

But now the British athlete is looking to the future and planning his next confrontations. According to Joshua, he has already chosen two priority opponents.

“Finding an opponent is not a problem for me. Moreover, there are already excellent options. In 2023 I would like to fight Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury. Any such fight will be the highlight of the year,” said the Briton.

At the same time, Joshua clarified that if Wilder is ready to sign a contract even now, the situation in negotiations with Fury is more complicated.

“Tyson's father doesn't want our fight. But I hope that Fury himself will have his say,” Joshua admitted.
