Averins hope for the admission of Russians to the 2024 Olympics
Gymnasts are ready to perform at the Asian Summer Games.
Russian rhythmic gymnasts Dina and Arina Averina expect that domestic athletes will be allowed to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, at least in a neutral status.
“We believe in the best, we hope that Russia will be allowed,” Match TV quotes the gymnasts.
The Averins are ready to compete at the 2023 Asian Summer Games in Hangzhou.
"Besides, through performances in Asia, you can get a quota for the Olympics, so that would be a good substitute," they concluded.
Earlier, the Olympic Council of Asia called for the participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus in the Asian Games.
