Ignatov plans to repeat Trusova's achievement of quintuple jumps
Russian figure skater Makar Ignatov may perform five quadruple jumps in the free skating segment next season.
Makar Ignatov, silver medalist of the 2020/21 Russian Championship, shared his plans for the next season in figure skating with reporters, noting that he could perform five quadruple jumps in the free program.
"I'm going to aim for five quadruple jumps in the free program. And then we'll see how it goes in training. We need the quality of these jumps to be at a high level," said the skater.
Makar Ignatov also noted that the main thing in the performance of a large number of quadruple jumps is their quality.
