Karen Khachanov withdrew from the ATP Rotterdam tournament without explanat
In Australia the tennis player showed the best result among the Russians.
The thirteenth-ranked Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov will not play at the ATP 500 tournament which starts on February 13 in Rotterdam with a prize fund of two million dollars.
A few hours ago the athlete officially withdrew from the tournament, and the reasons for this decision have not yet been made public.
The organizers added Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi as a substitute. Andrei Rublev and Daniil Medvedev will play in Rotterdam.
Khachanov was the best Russian player at the last Australian Open Championship and reached the semifinals.
