Former Croatian national team coach Miroslav Blazevic died
He led the Checkereds to a bronze medal at the '98 World Cup.
Former Croatian national soccer team coach Miroslav Blazevic passed away at the age of 88.
Under his guidance the Croats won the bronze of the World Cup in 1998.
Blazevic is also known for his work with Switzerland, Iran, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dinamo Zagreb, Grasshoppers of Switzerland and Nantes of France.
In recent years, the coach has been battling with cancer.
