Chimaev hopes to fight the winner of the Edwards - Usman rematch
The Swedish fighter hasn't been able to get a fight in a long time.
Top Swedish UFC welterweight Hamzat Chimaev hoped that his long lack of opponents could be due to the fact that the league is preparing a big fight for him.
According to the athlete, the promotion constantly gave him one name, then another, then another time frame. But he's been out of the business for several months now. Underneath it all, Hamzat has hope.
"It's already certain that Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman will fight in a rematch. They assume I'll be given a fight with the winner," Chimaev made an assumption.
