Russian tennis player, the first racket of the world, Daniel Medvedev became the leader in prize money earned during his career among Russian tennis players. After the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament in Hertogenbosch, in the finals of which he lost to Tim van Reijthoven of the Netherlands. The prize money of the 26-year-old Medvedev was $23,893,002.
Former world number one Yevgeny Kafelnikov came in second ($23,883,797), Nikolay Davydenko is third ($16,186,480).
The world leader in the world rankings for career earnings is Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic ($156,541,453). Also in the top three is Spaniard Rafael Nadal ($130,681,472) and Swiss Roger Federer ($130,594,339).
