Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina lost in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE) to Chinese tennis player Zheng Qingwen with a score of 1:6, 2:6.
In the ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), Kasatkina took eighth place, which is by far the best indicator among Russian athletes.
For reaching the final, Zheng Qinwen will compete with the winner of the Russian quarterfinal between Veronika Kudermetova and Lyudmila Samsonova.
