Ilya Samsonov repeated the record "Toronto" 88 years ago

Russian goalie Toronto Maple Leafs Ilya Samsonov repeated the club record for the number of wins in the first 30 games of the regular season.

Samsonov won 21 of his first 30 games with Toronto. Previously, only George Hainsworth managed to do this in the 1934/35 season.

Samsonov spends his first season in Toronto, having moved from the Washington Capitals.
