Mbappe congratulated Messi on being recognized as the Player of the Year
Messi was ahead of not only Mbappe, but also Karim Benzema.
PSG striker Kylian Mbappe congratulated his teammate, striker Lionel Messi with the title of the best football player of 2022 according to FIFA.
"Congratulations to Leo Messi. You are The Best," the Frenchman wrote on his page.
Messi finished first in the voting ahead of Mbappe and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
