Sergei Pavlovich will be an understudy in the fight Jon Jones
A promising fighter is needed in case a late replacement is required at the main event of UFC 285.
UFC 285 has an official stand-in plan for the main event. While the promotion is hoping that neither Jon Jones nor Cyril Gein will need to be removed from the card, they appear to be ready for an emergency. According to ESPN's Brett Okamoto, prospect Sergei Pavlovich is officially on duty to replace the headliner at the last minute. He wrote about this in one of the social networks.
At the moment, Sergey Pavlovich has a winning streak of five fights. The 30-year-old fighter's last and only defeat came in his debut fight in November 2018, when he received a TKO from Alistair Overeem.
Previously, the contender for the vacant UFC heavyweight title Jon Jones called the reason why his rival Cyril Gun rose to the top of the rankings.
