Serb Novak Djokovic, world number one, scored a 6:2 and 6:3 win over Dutchman Tallon Grikspur in one hour and seventeen minutes to reach the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai. The victory was Djokovic's nineteenth in a row, extending his undefeated status into 2023.
Djokovic, who made history this Monday as the longest-serving athlete in the world rankings at 378 weeks, will play in the quarterfinals the winner of the duel between Russia's Pavel Kotov and fifth favorite Pole Hubert Hurkacz.
