Ngannou Explains Why He Didn't Renew His UFC Contract

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou explained why he chose not to renew his contract with the UFC.

“The money is obviously very important, but as I said, the structure, the approach, the length of the contract is even more important... To be honest, I see a lot of value in this contract, which will not be ideal from a financial point of view, but will be valuable for me as for a person…”, — said the fighter.

Ngannou has previously said on numerous occasions that he wants to fight by the rules of boxing.
