Kondratyuk leads the men's short program at the Russian Grand Prix.
Figure skater Mark Kondratyuk told if he had jitters before performing at the Grand Prix finals in St. Petersburg.
“It’s very nice to be back. I hope tomorrow will be the same. Everything is fine with the form. Yesterday a certain jitter appeared. After performing at the European Championships and the Olympics, it seemed that I would no longer have jitters. There is still excitement," he said.
Kondratyuk also noted that 5 of the 12 participants in the tournament trained on the same ice, and he liked to feel such a competitive atmosphere.
The skater takes first place after the short program with 102.86 points.
