Dmitry Aliev: There were thoughts to take a break

Figure skater Dmitry Aliev said he wanted to take a break in his career.

“At the Russian Championship, I kind of got into the national team, it keeps me going. There were thoughts that year to take a break. But I didn’t take a break, the season turned out to be on a positive note,” he said.

Aliyev took second place at the Russian Grand Prix, earning 277.74 points. The first place was taken by Petr Gumennik (282, 12 points).
