The figure skating season will end with a show programs tournament

All participants in the tournament will be required to present an original exhibition number, which will be prepared specifically for the competition. Skaters will not be limited by the requirements for mandatory technical elements, in addition, there are no restrictions on the use of props and costumes.

Ten Olympic champions, nine world champions, ten European champions will take part in the tournament. Among the Olympic champions and world champions: Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitry Solovyov, Kamila Valieva, Tatyana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov, Alina Zagitova, Mark Kondratyuk, Evgenia Medvedeva, Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov, Victoria Sinitsyna and Nikita Katsalapov, Tatyana Totmyanina and Maxim Marinin, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Anna Shcherbakova, Alexei Yagudin.

Athletes selected by application: Sofya Akatieva, Matvey Vetlugin, Petr Gumennik, Makar Ignatov, Vasilisa Kaganovskaya and Valery Angelopol, Mikhail Kolyada, Andrey Mozalev, Dmitry Aliev, Elena Rodionova, Evgeny Semenenko, Evgeniya Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov, Elizaveta Khudaiberdieva and Yegor Bazin .

Initially, the list of participants who were selected by applications included the winner of the World and European Championships in women's single skating Anna Pogorilaya. According to the FFKKR, Pogorilaya was excluded from the list of participants due to the discrepancy between the numbers: the skater prepared for the performance the wrong material with which she was selected. Pogorilaya was replaced by the first spare - the silver medalist of the Russian Grand Prix Dmitry Aliev.

Pogorilaya reacted very harshly to her replacement in the tournament, saying that she learned about her replacement not from the organizers, but from the media:

“As you can see, my health is good. The preparations were in full swing, and the shape is already in good shape. All jumps restored. The program, music and dress were in preparation. Unfortunately, I learned about my replacement not from the organizers, but from the media,” Pogorilaya wrote on social networks.

Skaters are preparing bright images for the final tournament of the season. For example, Evgenia Medvedeva said that the sketch of the dress for her performance was created by a neural network. The athlete said that the idea to entrust the drawing of the dress to artificial intelligence came to her on the way from Cherepovets.

“I traveled from Cherepovets by bus to another city - for a very long time, long and painful. And thought about the costume. Nothing came to my mind. As a result, I went into the application with artificial intelligence, scored many, many words that could somehow relate to the image. And this artificial intelligence gave me a sketch of the dress - and I'm like: here it is! And on the basis of the dress that artificial intelligence created, we created my dress, ”she said in an interview with Channel One.

Participants will show numbers lasting 2.5-3 minutes. The order in which they enter the ice will be decided by a draw within each event, with the champions having priority in the later order. At the same time, the sequence of species has already been fixed: a man - a couple - a woman.

The tournament will be held in Moscow at the Megasport Sports Palace on March 18. The draw for the running order will take place on Thursday 16 March. The competition is organized by the Russian Figure Skating Federation and Channel One. The tournament will be judged by people from various fields of art - choreography, music, cinema, theater, as well as media representatives. The winner of the competition will receive 5 million rubles, the silver medalist - 3 million, and the bronze medalist - 1 million.
