Sema Uno won the short program at the world championships

First place went to Japan's Seema Uno with 104.63 points. Second place went to American Ilya Malinin (100.37). Third place went to Chha Jung-Hwan of South Korea (99.64).
Italian Daniel Grassl, who trains in Etteri Tutberidze's group, is in eighth place (86.50). Maurice Kvitelashvili, also working with Tutberidze, is in the last 21st place (73.05).
