Charles Oliveira named an opponent he dreams of defeating
The Brazilian continues to stubbornly avoid an invitation to fight Islam Makhachev.
Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira admitted that he has long dreamed of fighting former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor.
"We both love to put on a show and please the public with great fights. How great it would be to fight Conor at home in Brazil, and in front of the native audience to bring the star down," said the Brazilian.
Oliveira admits that the promotion is trying to lobby his fight with Russian boxer Islam Makhachev.
Curiously, Charles does not refuse the fight, but constantly puts forward conditions. He wants to fight in his homeland, or he wants a triple fee.
Some experts say that this obstinacy may backfire on the Brazilian, and that Makhachev will be offered another opponent for the title fight. And there is already such a contender.
