The New York Rangers defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 6-2 in an NHL home game.
As part of the hosts, a goal and an assist were scored by the Russian striker Artemy Panarin. The puck was thrown by forward Vladimir Tarasenko. Goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin saved 28 shots.
