Spartak jokingly turned down Cristiano Ronaldo
The Red and White published a screenshot of the fake correspondence.
Spartak Moscow published a made up joke correspondence with Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo on social media.
"Hello, Spartak!" - Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly wrote. "No," the Red and White account replied.
"Pain again. But this time not for us," reads the caption to the post.
Previously, Spartak published the same mock correspondence with Lionel Messi, but then, on the contrary, the player responded to the club's appeal with a refusal.
Cristiano Ronaldo has asked Manchester United to sell him if possible, as he does not believe in the team's prospects. MJ head coach Eric ten Hague responded that the Portuguese is not for sale.
