Roman Kostomarov continues to be in intensive care
Skater recovering from severe pneumonia and amputation.
The source reported on the recovery of figure skater Roman Kostomarov, who has been in the hospital since January 10.
"Roman's condition is stable, there is no temperature. He is recovering, he no longer needs a tracheostomy, but the transfer from the intensive care unit is not planned until the tissues are restored. He is regularly bandaged. The psychological state is normal, he eats well and is already asking to go home, he is tired of the hospital walls" , he said.
Roman Kostomarov was admitted to intensive care in early January with a severe form of pneumonia and was connected to ventilators and ECMO. Due to the developed necrosis, he survived several amputations.
