Ilya Malinin won the short program in Japan

American figure skater of Russian origin Ilya Malinin became the first in the short program at the World Team Figure Skating Championships.

He earned 105.90 points. In second place is Korean Cha Jung Hwan with 101.33 points. Kevin Aimo of France is third with 100.58.

Earlier, the rhythm dance with a world record was won by the American couple Madison Chalk / Evan Bates.
