Ilya Kovalchuk: I didn't talk about ending my playing career

The 40-year-old striker may return to the ice in the new season.

Olympic champion in hockey, striker Ilya Kovalchuk said that he had not yet decided to end his playing career.

“I didn’t say that! I’ll work out in the summer and decide,” Match TV quotes him.

Kovalchuk, 40, stopped playing in the spring of 2021 after winning the Gagarin Cup with Avangard Omsk. At the 2022 Winter Olympics, he was the manager of the Russian team.
