Czech defenders David Sklenicka and Lukas Klok were not called up to the national team for the World Cup, as they will play in the KHL next season.
According to iSport.cz, Sklenichka, who played for the Swedish Brunhes, will go to the Kazakh Barys, and Klok, who played for the Swiss Lugano, will return to the Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik.
The publication called the rejection of Sklenichka and Klok a significant loss for the Czech national team.
