Ilya Lyubushkin played part of the NHL season with an injury

Russian defender “Buffalo Sabers” Ilya Lyubushkin said he was not entirely satisfied with the season he spent in the NHL.

“I could have played more, just a little injury let me down. And the start of the season turned out to be a little crumpled due to the fact that injuries were superimposed and somewhere I had to play injured and the like,” TASS quotes him.

Lyubushkin added that he was disappointed that Buffalo did not make the playoffs, especially because the team lacked 2 points. Nevertheless, the Russian is confident that in the coming years, the Sabers will get into the Stanley Cup.
