Sushinsky does not believe in the prospect of Tkachev to play in the NHL

This season, the Avangard forward became the second top scorer in the KHL regular season.

Ex-striker of the Russian national hockey team Maxim Sushinsky was skeptical about the prospects of Omsk Avangard forward Vladimir Tkachev to play in the NHL.

Earlier it was reported that Tkachev was not satisfied with the new contract with Omsk and he wants to move to the NHL.

"The guy sees the field perfectly, crazy skating, very skillful. The desire to play in the NHL and the opportunity are two different things. Overseas, and in general, hockey must be played with a warm heart and a cold head," Legalbet quotes Sushinsky.

In the 2022/23 season, Tkachev became the second scorer in the KHL regular season, scoring 59 (23+36) points.
