World chess champion to be determined in tie-break

Russian Ian Nepomniachtchi in the 14th game of the World Chess Championship match tied with the Chinese Ding Liren.

The protracted game in which Nepomniachtchi played black ended on the 90th move.

The main part of the match ended in a draw - 7:7. The champion will be determined on April 30 in a tie-break. Four games will be played with a time control of 25 minutes + 10 seconds per move. If the score still remains a draw, then two more games will take place with a time limit of 5 minutes + 3 seconds per move. If even after them the winner is not known, two more games will take place, and then - a blitz with a time control of 3 minutes + 2 seconds before the first victory.
