Ilya Averbukh spoke about how the show "Favorite songs about the main thing" was created.

"This is my idea, I thank you for the support of Moskomsport. The initiative is from below, not from above, I want to emphasize this. The idea of the show was born a few years ago, the first show on this topic was held in St. Petersburg, and there the initiative was from above "In cooperation with the Elena Berezhnaya Theater, we have created a program that is very much in demand by the audience in St. Petersburg. This is a social project where the audience comes to get in touch with the great figure skaters," Averbukh said.

The choreographer stressed that he would like this show to become traditional on the eve of May 9th.

The program of the show will consist of one section and will be connected by a single storyline of the pre-war, military and post-war eras of the Great Patriotic War.
