New Zealander Israel Adesanya, who holds the UFC middleweight title, said he would agree to a new rematch with Alex Pereira on one condition.

“He moved to light heavyweight, and now let him prove his worth there. If he wins a belt in a new division, I will agree to a new meeting, ”the athlete explained.

According to him, many want to see their next fight, but any story must end sooner or later so that each participant can move on.

Recall that the rivals have already fought for the title twice. First, the Brazilian sensationally defeated Adesanya, and in the rematch, the New Zealander knocked out the opponent in the second round.

As for the light heavyweight title for Pereira, the Brazilian will face Jan Blachowicz at the end of July, in case of victory over which Alex was promised a title fight.
