The fight between former UFC champion Henry Cejudo and top bantamweight fighter Marlon Vera at the tournament in Boston on August 19 will not take place.
Not so long ago, Cejudo, who resumed his career, received a ridiculous domestic injury and was forced to withdraw from the fight.
“Unfortunately, I stupidly injured my shoulder, and the doctors recommended not to fight yet, so as not to aggravate,” the American wrote on his social networks.
UFC management has not yet made any official statements regarding this situation.
But there are only two options here: either postpone the fight to a later date, or look for another opponent for the Ecuadorian in August.
