Oleksandr Usyk signed a contract to fight Tyson Fury

The unification fight for the absolute heavyweight boxing championship has become a little closer to reality.

WBA, WBO and IBF title holder Oleksandr Usyk put his signature under the contract for a fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury the day before.

Now it's up to the Briton, who, however, has so far avoided specifics regarding his consent to this confrontation.

Despite repeated loud statements and even accusations against the Ukrainian about disrupting the fight, Fury himself, however, does not want to rush things.

But if Usyk and Fury still meet, defeating this match could become the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the current century.

In 1999, the famous heavyweight Lennox Lewis held a similar title.
