Yolanda Chen spoke about the role of Elizaveta Tuktamysheva in the development of Russian figure skaters.

“Lisa doesn’t easily play the role of a guide, sports longevity and beauty, but she also plays the role of a serious mentor for our young people. Everyone should follow her, try to beat her, learn to compete. Lisa is the standard of women’s figure skating,” she said.

Chen also emphasized that it is important for young figure skaters to have an idol like Tuktamysheva - they need to look up to her.
