Yuri Zhirkov does not want to officially announce the end of his career
Now the 38-year-old former Russian national team defender is without a club.
Former Russian national soccer team defender Yuri Zhirkov has finished his playing career.
However, a source told Eurostavka that the 38-year-old footballer does not want to announce it officially.
"That's his position for now - like he's not finishing, but he's finished," he said.
The 38-year-old Zhirkov spent the spring part of last season at Khimki, but played only three games. On his account are 105 games and 2 goals in the Russian national team.
